Welcome to Nostro. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you join our Waitlist and use our mobile application. Currently, Nostro is in a pre-launch phase conducting market research and risk assessments.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Identity Data: Name, Phone Number, and the last 5 digits of your CNIC. Note: We collect partial CNIC data solely to deduplicate entries and perform preliminary risk screening (fraud prevention). We do not collect the full CNIC or scan ID cards at this stage.
• Professional Data: Information regarding your income sources (e.g., Upwork, Amazon), profession, and estimated transaction volumes.
• Authentication Data: We use Clerk (a third-party service) to manage secure logins. Clerk may collect device information and IP addresses to ensure account security.
• Device Data: IP address, device model, and operating system to prevent "device farm" abuse and fake signups.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Waitlist Prioritization: To rank your position based on the "Pain Qualification" and "Risk" answers provided in the app.
• Fraud Prevention: The last 5 digits of your CNIC are used to ensure one person cannot create multiple spots on the waitlist to game the system.
• Product Development: Aggregated data (e.g., "70% of users use Payoneer") is used to build the features you actually need.
• Communication: To notify you when your spot opens up or to invite you to private feedback groups.

4. Data Sharing & Security

Third-Party Providers: We use trusted third-party services:

• Clerk: For identity and access management.
• Firebase: For storing survey data.

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
• Security: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

5. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your waitlist entry. Contact us at support@nostro.pk to remove your data.
